When the present owners first caught a glimpse of 'Le Mulaie' , some years back, with its aged, russet coloured walls and a vigorous wisteria winding its way up the outside stone staircase of the main farmhouse, it was love at first sight.
From then on, the project of acquiring and restoring it got under way and was completed with the utmost respect for the traditions of the Tuscan countryside.
Thus the cluster of disparate farm buildings was transformed into the happily inter relating complex of three houses, which it is today.
An altogether comfortable and well appointed home to be enjoyed by family and friends, filled with personal and priced furnishings and possessions.
The overgrown wilderness, which had surrounded the property, was slowly transformed into the beautiful landscaped gardens, which it is today.
All around the houses , pool area and pool house are green lawns, flower beds and slopes filled with the aromatic plants and herbs, typical of a Mediterranean garden.
Further away, stretch the hills of a quintessentially Tuscan landscape, with thick woods, pristine vineyards, olive groves and luscious arable fields.
Only two of the villas, which make up 'Le Mulaie' , are available for rent.
Of these two villas, the original Farmhouse has three double bedrooms, each with its own en suite bathroom, whilst the smaller Cottage has two bedrooms, each with its own en suite bathroom.
The property is approached by a wide, cypress lined drive and the Farmhouse and Cottage are joined by a pretty paved courtyard and share their own separate car parking area.
